Introducing our Platinum Sponsor: AWE

We are proud to announce AWE as our headline Platinum Sponsor for NTE.  AWE have previously supported the event and this year, they return to Silverstone even bigger and better and their team want to meet you.

For more than 70 years AWE has been synonymous with science, engineering and technology excellence in support of the UK's nuclear deterrent. AWE has recently been recognised for its commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant (AFC) and Armed Forces community with a Silver Award under the MOD's Defence Employer Recognition Scheme.

If you’re looking for a role with excitement, intrigue and something that really makes a difference then now is the time to join AWE. They are at the start of a once-in-a-generation – possibly two-generation – programme to design and produce a replacement warhead for the UK’s continuous at sea deterrent. They will do this while continuing to deliver the Trident programme as well as managing ambitious state-of-the-art capital and construction projects – some of which have never been done before.

They are currently recruiting right across the business: from technical roles in engineering, science, manufacturing and industrial work to business roles in areas such as IT, project management/ controls, commercial, human resources and facilities management. They also have their Evolve graduate programme, or you may be interested in an apprenticeship with their award-winning Skills Academy.

What they do is vital to national nuclear security. Keeping our nation, everyone, our environment and everything around us safe and secure is a top priority for them. So, as you would expect, that brings with it a high level of safety and security that you will see across their sites and in how everyone who works here operates.

If you’d like to join their team you’ll need to be a British National and normally to have resided in the UK for the past five years for Security Clearance (SC) roles and ten years for Developed Vetting (DV) roles. If you have had periods when you lived outside of the UK for less than a year during the last five years or less than two years during the last ten years, they may still be able to consider you, so please do apply. They may consider dual nationality for certain roles.

If you visit any stand this year, make sure it’s AWE located in Hall 2.
