Exhibit at The National Transition Event

A Unique Event

The annual National Transition Event, delivered by Mission Motorsport and Mission Community, has a unique appeal. Incorporating the Silverstone Troops Trackday, the event brings together over 500 service leavers, veterans and spouses with employers and veterans in key positions to provide insight, networking opportunities, and to enable others.

What it isn’t - is a job fair.

Veteran Employees

We continue to build on the successes of previous National Transition Events to provide an impactful and innovative event that will truly benefit the attendees.  In providing a forum to speak with service leavers, veterans and spouses seeking jobs, this event will also be a great opportunity for employers to network, share good practice and ideas, and to speak to the team about ways in which you can engage with the Armed Forces community for mutual benefit.

Where possible, we actively encourage you to bring your own veterans employed within your business. We can’t think of anyone better equipped to help service leavers feel empowered as they make the transition into the civilian world of employment and gain a better understanding of how their military skills and qualifications may be translatable.

Networkingnot only with attendees but with other exhibitors as well. Speak with others to find out how they manage their own Armed Forces Engagement Programmes and share ideas about best practice. Attendees come to meet members of the Armed Forces community - not recruiters working to targets.

An Iconic Venue

Silverstone is partnering with us to make available not only the GP Circuit (we’ll produce about 100 supercars for passenger laps) but the Silverstone Wing itself.  Indoor areas total over 5,000m3 where all attendees attend a central briefing, then tour zones where introductions are made, with break-out meeting spaces available

Silverstone has been awarded Three-Star Environmental accreditation by the FIA in recognition of the impressive progress being made on its journey to a net zero future. Since launching its Shift to Zero strategy in 2022 Silverstone has made considerable progress including introducing, in that short time, a significant solar project with the installation of 2,764 panels on the roof of the Wing which generates over 13% of the venue’s energy. In addition to this, all on site generators, under the control of Silverstone, now run on HVO biofuel, resulting in a 90% reduction of emissions, 50% of its lighting has been switched to LED, with the ambition to have 100% by 2025, and following a switch in energy providers in April 2023, the venue is now fully powered by renewable energy.

In 2023, the circuit also installed 24 solar powered EV charge points so visitors and staff can recharge while on site. From a waste point of view, Silverstone has already reached its target to recycle 35% of the total waste collected on site in 2023 and sent the remainder to a Waste for Energy programme facility that helps to power 50,000 homes in Oxfordshire.  Find out more about Silverstone’s Shift to Zero Strategy Here
